    I was thinking an ethaline gas cannister may have had a faulty valve allowing the pressure to build up either that or the pressure vents 0n the container were left closed allowing the pressure to build up. Bananas are partially allowed to ripen during shipment this is done by using ethaline gas that way they don't takes weeks to ripen naturally
    Never try to tell me it can't be done

    Back in the day...
    On most of the major terminal markets there was a house that specialized in banana ripening. In those days, the pressurized rooms were entered wearing breathing apparatus.
