Second question mulling around the brain box....
ACM (the aluminium clad sheets of plastic used for signwriting) - I am contemplating using it for making up the storage for my ER collets. basically a sheet of ACM with a grid of holes drilled through for the collets to sit in.
It's been a while, but will I run a risk/ concern with having the tool steel of the collets in direct contact with the aluminium?
is there plastics I need to be aware of when in contact with tool steel? (I am so used to watching what woods I use to avoid tannins causing issues, but the old memory says there are certain plastics which are formed with acids in the reaction - do I face similar issues?
Thanks,
Des
