Quick set toolmakers clamps

I recently saw a video where the toolmaker's clamp had a quick-setting feature. It had one clearance hole and one tapped hole reversed in each jaw, and the jaws could be slid apart. This was a feature that I have always wanted and inspired me to make a quick model to test the idea. Unfortunately, the model I copied did not work, so I refined the idea into what you see in the video.
