So, fully certified for US Gov. built buildings in foreign countries as part of reconstruction.

Still the carbon content not that high to make it brittle,and they get bent in all shapes for casings in any case so does it really weaken the structure(rod) if you straighten it once ?

How I am wondering long a straight section is needed to get it started into the machine?

It's rotary swaging. Instead a simple closed die, using 4-5 individual sets. Same idea as wire roll straightening. Enough to reach first hammers from the opening, as this is fairly small rebar.
