Saw a video on YouTube by DrER where he talked about a patient whose girlfriend had put one on him the night before for bedtime activities. They had both fallen asleep without removing it. When he woke up he was in pain and swollen and purple. Titanium ring now deeply embedded in sensitive flesh. Doctor had to use bolt cutters to crack the ring off.
