Have you seen these: Rivnut Tools

It's dead simple to cobble something adequate together from a bolt and a couple of nuts/washers, especially if you're only doing a few aluminum rivnuts. If you need to install a large number, or if you're using steel rivnuts, then you'll likely need a sturdier tool. Depending on where you're planning to use them, you might even do better with nutplates.
