Rolling scaffold

I started constructing a rolling scaffold set up to aid in the construction of my shop and hopefully once I get a full length platform constructed it will save me a lot of climbing up and down
First off I needed to take down some of the scaffolding from the South side of the building to use in this um thing.

I used 3 postal service warehouse carts as the crossmembers for the base of the scaffolding
then chained everything down to the bus frame

once all of the scaffolding is erected and tied together with a platform on top it will be easy to move around and a lot safer than just having a single rolling section to stand on, not to mention I will be able to reach 3 trusses at the same time without having to move this will help in installing the purlins and the insulation panels then I can turn the bus to run along the truss line for beginning the first couiple of sheets of roofing after the first couple then most all work will be done from above anyway.

yep I've had them a long time I used them back in 2014 when I re did the step deck folding tail trailer to hold the upper deck straight while I had the web of the frame pretty much cut away entirely.
I consider those beams to be tools and they get used frequently but never used in anything that requires them to be cut up or welded into a permanent assembly far too valuable to be used up.

The bus chassis is a great idea for the rolling scaffold!
Does it still run as a yard truck so you can start it up and move it, or will you have to use your backhoe tractor to pull it around?
If it doesn't run, maybe you could hookup up an electric drive to driveshaft, and another electric motor for the steering, and be able to move yourself around while up on the scaffold.

It has a good engine but currently no transmission.
I could use one of my hydraulic motors like the one on my plate roll, but would want to add additional reduction to it however if I were to do that I could hook up the hyd pump to the steering as well to make it easier to steer. But I doubt if I will take the time to do any of this. Since I wont have to move it too many times it will be faster to just use the back hoe or my Ford pickup to move it around with.
Later the bus chassis will the used as the chassis for my B755 Mack cab And I have a quadraplex transmission to install in it I'm a fan of 2 stick transmissions the engine is a 300 hp 5.9 truck Cumins not the dodge engine, I also have a 21 ft Fruehauf pup trailer that I am thinking about whacking the frame down a bit then mounting it on the chassis with a pair of under body dump cylinders that I have and mounting a 20,000 lb winch that I have, behind the cab and the rolling tailboard off of another bed that I have. I figure that I can make a fairly versatile 5 ton truck out of it

I also have one of the largest U haul box trucks made in 1989 that we are thinking about pulling the box off mounting it on a skid then putting a roll back bed on the chassis But my 1944 EQ Mack stays original except I will up grade the braking system.

And changed the wording on it to "Run Away!".

Now have all of the scaffolding mounted on the bus chassis all of the bracing in place and secured the scaffold is chained down in multiple places holding not only the scaffold in place but the postal carts and the beams as well. The only way anything could fall of would be for the bus to roll over and that is not likely to happen since I am using jack stands under the ends of the postal carts to serve as outriggers further stabilizing the structure.
What I should do now is to add planking on top of the scaffold maybe I can get that done tomorrow
