I love round inserts and use them whenever possible. They make it so easy to achieve a beautiful surface finish.

I recently bought a round set just to make curved inside corners, but discovered the surface finish they leave. Now I too use them for general turning.

And they can be rotated only a few degrees for a fresh cutting edge thereby having a much longer life.
