Every time I drive past a Runaway Ramp I think how cool it would be to see a truck use it. Every time I see a video of a runaway truck I think how terrifying it would be to be anywhere near it.

I wonder what the charge is to use the gantry to remove the vehicles?

Back in the day before the big engines and popularity of exhaust brakes we had a saying. Use the same gear or at least the next lower gear to descend the hill as the one you went up it in. In today's world with engines powerful enough to top a grade at speed it is even more important to mentally calculate the grade versus distance against weight in selecting the proper gear selection to descend while using the exhaust braking system.
