    I used to work at a tube mill and we had a band saw that regularly cut full bundles of1/4” wall 4” diameter tube, I want to say it was around 50 pieces. Was pretty cool to watch run. The operator tack welded each tube together on the end not in the massive vice. It chomped through a bundle relatively quick although I can’t remember an exact cycle time, basically just cut abut 10” off each bundle
