    Yes. Two bearings ground on their sides to be sharp. And spaced apart enough to make them shear the sheet metal. This I will remember.

    Thanks!!! I've never seen one drawn through the sheet like that, just the bench mount type where the sheet is pushed in, and the handle helps turn one wheel to keep things moving.

    Pushed or pulled, same effect. The operation is known as 'slitting'.
    A foot (stomp) shear variety, known as a 'gap or 'C' frame' can also do this, still called slitting but mechanically works like a scissor.

    Yey. Worked on one of those. Haven't worked with one of these roller types. But my guess is once you get it cutting it should be fairly easy to cut and follow a line.
