Actually, it was my Christmas present, with the help of the last award I got from homemadetools.net (thanks again Jon), I had a Liogier hand made rasp.
They are incredibly efficient, even if I am always reluctant to use rasps and files on wood, preferring the gouge, chisel, plane and scraper. But I must admit, these rasps are definitively convincing.


By the way, father Christmas also gave me a couple of high end japanese oiri nomi chisels :0)
