    Speedhandle For Mill Vise.

    Hi All;

    Thought I would post something simple I just made. I needed a handle for my Kurt 5" vise. Thought I would have a go at making something different. This is actually a modified mechanic's speedhandle. I've welded the end from a cheap 1/2" drive breaker bar to the end of it. Now it can be used to quickly open or close the jaws, and then turned 90 degrees for final tightening.

    I made a speed driver for my mill vice when I needed to rotate it with the screw parallel to the X-axis. No room for the spider handle and too slow with the standard L handle. 3/4"socket on a cutoff 3/8" socket drive extension. With the 1/2" battery drill it works great. I have a drill adapter for raising and lowering the table, so the drill is always there anyway.
