Stand for Landsky vice

I was trying to sharpen the bigger meat knives in anticipation of the hunting season. I have a Landsky kit that is pretty good for somebody that does not sharpen knives everyday. The system is pretty good for the smaller vegetable and pocket knives, but to try and do it by holding everything in your hands, just do not work and a bit unsafe.



So I finally made the stand that one can buy separately.



It seems to make everything a lot easier...for the smaller knives.

I am still battling with the huge 14" blade meat knife.
