    Steel rack

Finally got around to dragging one of my old steel racks up to the shop to hold some of the bits that were laying around this will make it easier to move them when the time comes to work on the floor
I made this and many other racks so long ago that I couldn't put a date on it probably close to 35 years if I had to make a guess

I don't think I will be putting my heavy metal on this rack though

the 2 pieces on the left are 2 3/4" thick the 1 on the right is 4 1/8" thick
the rar right is another of the caterpillar rock guards like I made the fork carriage for my backhoe loader out of

Your "shop" is shaping up to be quite a nice workplace Frank. I've seen a number of commercial shops that weren't any where near as capable as yours is going to be.

If you didn't live so far from me I'd be stopping by (too often) with things that are beyond my capabilities here.
If you can't make it precise make it adjustable.

Just let me know if you decide to come up for a visit some time and I'll make sure to have a fresh pot of coffee brewing
Through out the years I have built and set up many dream shops / factories, this one may not be the ultimate dream shop in the end but I plan on it being comfortable and equipped well enough to suit my purposes

That's just a hair farther than I'd drive for a good cuppa Joe.

Never know though, I've looked for affordable deer leases in those parts so it's not completely off the table.
