These are known as "Combination Table/Miter Saw" or Convertible or Combo

Bosch, Ryobi, Virutex, Evolution, and others make them... Sort of interesting, but it seems like it has a smaller blade than a regular miter saw (8 vs 10 to 12) and there is the big structure that moves up and down...

Good if you are doing wood flooring. But not a whole lot else. I have seen 10 inch versions.
