    Thanks for pointing that out. I should have done that in my original post. I have always hated the typical methods for mounting gauges, it is rare to see any that come anywhere near being rigid enough. I have not watched the video yet but I need no convincing that those mounts are woefully inadequate despite their widespread use.

    In the desire for rigidity I have even replaced the original clamping method with a welded on tab, as the pix show.
