Taking my skills to the next level

I'm a welder and have been at it for all of my adult life and some of my teenage years I mostly weld pipe in the oil and chemical refinery industry I like to think I'm in the elite of my field as I usualy weld chrome, inconel, hastaloy and other exotic metals I also weld tubes in boiler units most tubes are 2 1/4 - 9 1/4 chrome but I'm ready to start some blacksmith work and plan on building as much of my own tools as possible

    Hi Case85,

    Welcome!

Sounds like some great and highly useful experience. What sort of blacksmithing work do you have in mind?

Have you chosen a forge design yet?
