    DIY lathe, mill tools

    Hi Lads,

I am a new member in this interesting site

I am into home machining (mill lathe work) as a hobby. I have been making my own tooling lately. Included is photo of some tools I have made: MT3 flycutter holder, Quick change tool post (QCTP) and magnetic base for dial gauge.

cheers and look forward to enjoying this site

Have not had a chance to fully digest the site and pick a specific project. However I always pick certain ideas from a given project if
not the whole concept. Right now on the tooling front I hope to put together an MT3 collet holder and boring bar. Additionally I am putting together the ideas in my head for a general purpose CNC machine with DIY ACME screws and also a 3D printer including many parts from a scanner/printer/copier I picked from the trash in the street.

    Cheers for encouragement lads!
