    We used hoods and Polaroid cameras to snap oscilloscope traces back in the day. I still have a couple of them for the Tektronix scopes. We all got spoiled with new fangled Digital Storage Scopes... but I still trust the solid-state analog scopes!

    In this Applied Science Youtube video he describes using this adapter to take high resolution photos from his (very old) electron microscope. (1:14 into the video)
