Tsugite interactive complex wooden joinery design software - photos and video

Tsugite is software that works with a CNC milling machine to design complex Japanese wooden joints. It's built by professors and students from the University of Tokyo. The paper is here: http://ma-la.com/Tsugite_UIST20.pdf . Code on GitHub is here: https://github.com/marialarsson/tsugite .

Steel is better for making things than firewood all you need to know how to do is cut on diagonal and square then weld it.
Ha,ha, just kidding but I always thought it was cheating for a Japanese craftsman to use power tools let alone CNC to make their wooden structures
Never try to tell me it can't be done
When I have to paint I use KBS products
