    I like minimal work and simplicity. I made my stylus by simply soldering a ball bearing to the shaft, as in this previous post.

    I greatly appreciate the rigor of your testing. Well done!

    I particularly liked that you used a DMM to detect when your probe contacts the mic. I am not aware of a more accurate method.
