This reminds me of a paint catalog for new GM cars. A black-line drawing side view of model you were looking at, with a solid border. It was then positioned over a what amounts to a big paint chip.

To their credit, polymers and resin products advanced leaps and bounds, mileage is good, performance outstanding, rust not so prevalent. . .
At the same time no individuality, most are ugly, loaded with compensations for inept drivers, certain features as selling points that'll rarely be utilized. . .
