Well I feel a bit silly and too quick to jump to conclusions right now. When I saw the beginning of that video, I though to myself, why didn't they start that turn more to the left side of the road. Then the blade just kept getting longer and longer and longer and longer and longer......

I guess they have done that a couple times before!!!
