    Unable to upload photos (again)

When attempting to upload some photos from my computer, I once again find that upon pressing the Browse button no window opens to allow me to select a file. It's happened before and then was fixed but it's back again. Is it the site's script that's causing this?

Nevermind. I restarted my browser and normal functionality is restored.

Good to hear this is fixed. Also note that I was changing the cache settings on the server this morning, which may have had something to do with it.

I'm not sure but I have a suspicion that Firefox is to blame - some updates pushed out have bugs in them not yet identified. Their new multi threading core isn't there yet though it's better than the previous iteration.

Hello. Since two days ago, I have trouble uploading photos from the computer; unlike described by Crusty, the browser window opens normally, but when a file is selected, pressing the "upload" button, closes the window without uploading the file. One of every six or seven attempts succeed, but the rest fail. Is the problem on the site or on my computer?
    Thanks

Clear your browser cache and try again. That usually fixes the problem for me.

Thanks, Crusty. I did that, but doesn't work at all: I made 14 attempts to upload photos and only four of them were actually uploaded.

Try a different browser. Also, examine the photos to make sure that they are not extremely large.

Thanks, Jon. Photos are 800 x 600. I tried Internet Explorer (usually use Google Chrome) and it worked nice.

    Hello paying newbie here.

Can anyone tell me how to upload a photo for a home made tool? Or am I supposed to upload a video?

I was all set to post the text but I did not see any way of uploading any of my photos.
    Thanks H.
