    That is not how you mix paint. All you did was sling the paint to the outer surfaces, the lid and bottom. The solids are heavier than the liquid, so the lid will get coatedwith solids and the liquids will not mix. If you look at a paint mixer, it shakes the can at an angle and the solids go back and forth rapidly though the liquid to mix. Also, those paint mixers have a clamp on the top and bottom to keep the lid from coming off.
