A very simple tool to mirror burnish flat parts.

This video is a quick demonstration to show how my free spinning burnishing tool can also produce mirror finishes as well as patterns. This small robust tool has just two simple manufactured parts, 2 standard balls & a shoulder screw. Larger models can easily incorporate far more balls for incresed feedrates.
The balls are driven by the steel profiled race when they are gripped between the race and the face of the part. They loosely drive the brass retainer at half the spindle speed.
