This idea is not mine. I got it from Quinn at Blondihacks. (lots of good projects on her screwtube channel) Her saw is a Dewalt and mine is a Wen. I think it will work with most if not all. In picture 1 is the support and mounting nut that came on the saw. Picture 2 is the mounting channel. 3 is the angle that mounts to the table and is clamped in the vise. It also shows the two nuts I made for the table to mount in the channel. I wanted as much space between them as possible for more support. 4 is the table which is 8" x 10" x 3/16" steel. I cut the slot for the blade with a thin cutting disc in an angle grinder. 5 and 6 show the foot switch. The trigger switch is just tied with a cable tie. The foot switch can be slid under the bench, so it isn't accidentally stepped on. I was going to make a foot switch, but a heavy duty push button momentary switch cost half as much as this foot switch. I got in from Amazon for about $15.00 The last picture shows the saw mounted in the vise and the switch and wiring. I built this small bench just for the vise because the work benches on each end of the shop are wall to wall. No corner to mount the vise on.
