You are on to something Frank!! That starts a fun video in my head. 12 people, 10 players+2 refs, running in and down the floor.

Each player affecting the bumps in the floor pushing the bumps down, while it rises up someplace else.

The ball not returning as normal when dribbling. No one knowing for sure where a bounce pass may end up.

One player comes down from collecting a rebound, lands on a bump, that makes the floor pop up in another spot, launching a much smaller unsuspecting player into the air. Then the one with the rebound tosses the flying player the ball and he throws it down into the basket.

Maybe you had to be there, in my mind, to see it clearly. But it sure looked funny to me as I watched it that game. !!

I was sitting in the front row watching the whole time the scramble after a missed free throw was hilarious.
I'm imagining a globetrotters expedition game on that floor as well.
