It seems that the high HP/lift ratio on this design could be made more efficient by straightening out the wing (this design has very little downward thrust/lift to the wing) and ducting air over the straight wing from a central ducted fan design. As-is, there's not much horizontal wing area and a whole lot of HP. The glide ratio on this would resemble that of a slightly aerodynamic rock.
