Homemade Woodworker's Leg Vise


DESCRIPTION:
Homemade woodworker's leg vise constructed from a plank and a threaded rod with a crank. Table leg incorporates a matching nut for the threaded rod, along with a slot and guide wheels at the bottom to support the structure.

Doesn't look too difficult to replicate. Would make a nice addition to an all-purpose worktable.

A different perspective really helps.  I appreciate this particular picture showing the vise view from an angle I've not seen before.  Very helpful!  And then...I read a bit farther about the build and the use of acme threads and a unique source for them.  Very, very clever!
