Pat, yea, I use SketchUp for all my drawings (wwodwork). I gave my drafting table away years ago. I acquired an articulated drafting machine in the mid 90s, thinking, 'You beauty! This'll be the bee's knees!'...and then came Google SketchUp...I sold the drafting arm for $20 to a guy who was going to use at as 'industrial decoration'...go figure...cheers
