You are in a small club Frank. The little trucks out number the normal trucks in Canada by a wide margin.

I agree whole heartedly about using the appropriate vehicle for the job.

The "full sized" truck has shrunk by a lot. In 2010 we tried to find a bumper for a rusted out back bumper on our 2003 Chevy. Found a 79 Suburban rear bumper. The kind you jacked up the vehicle on. You remember! we measured the lengths and found that the Suburban was 8 inches wider than the "fullsized" modern Chevy. Wider than even the FORD Raptor. We get marketed to. Told everything is better. But I'm a little skeptical. More expensive yes. More tricks and comforts yes. Better? Debatable.

I've got nothing against little trucks. Heck I own a 83 Subaru Brat 4x4 they don't get a lot smaller than that one. I also have a 98 Masda B3000 and a 2007 ford Ranger The ranger and the brat currently are not runners but my 91 F250 or my 93 F350 Diesels get better mileage than the Masda and can do it with 3 to5000 lbs in the bed @ 75 to 80 MPH all day long where as the Masda struggles to be able to hold 75MPH empty unless I run premium grade gas in it
I don't know how the Expedition is going to do on gas since I have only recently gotten it ready for the road, but as far as the creepy comforts go it is the Eddy Bauer edition, who ever bought it new must have went down the check list for options and checked every one of them it was more dressed out than the Lincoln Navigator. My friend's 2021 F250 I am taking care of for him didn't even come with some of the things on my Expedition.
