    This was typical of competitive Mods in the 1960s. For the uninformed. Mods had dressed scooters and wore fashionable clothes, their opposite number were the Rockers who wore Leather Jackets, Jeans and leather boots and rode cafe racers. Skirmishes twix the two were not unknown. Mods listened to the Beatles, Rockers listened to Elvis.
