Have you ever tried to spin on a nut when the screw’s end is rough-sawed? It takes me a few tries, and I often end up cross-threaded. An excellent solution is to bevel the end of your screws after sawing them. I offer you a fixture to make this operation safe and consistent.

The answer to a problem I have had forever. My fingers can attest to that. Simple and gets the job done. Thanks.
I like this method. For short screws I often use an appropriate driver to spin the screw which keeps me from burning my fingers and positively turns the screw. I would want to add a way to quickly locate the fixture.
