Only a few million of these in use, moving feed and grain. Some are only 3 or 4 inches in diameter, inside spiral wound sheetmetal housings, a strut bearing at one end, a belt drive, 110v motor and strut at the other. Likely some are PTO driven.
In fact I'm on the lookout for an auger such as this, about 10' in length. Interesting compared to some other transfers, nearly 100% efficient, relying more on physics than mechanism.

How many Pellet stoves use the same screw?

The same principles in every drill bit, screw, and auger bit.

Smaller scale, but still same principles in propellers and turbines.
