Good on you for assembling some plans to share with others.

I picked one of these saws up almost a year ago and it has been indispensable in the shop when working with metal. My stand is a little different than yours, but similar overall as the purpose is the same. I used some angle to connect the legs together, provide something to clamp to the bench when I'm cutting and extend a bit rearward to support the saw's weight.
