A '65 rag top 'vair sits next to my shop. It belongs to my wife.

It is mechanically in very good condition. The interior has been restored as has been the rag top. However, the box beams have rusted out so it is dangerous to drive.

I remember rebuilding the automatic transmission on one of those a friend had. Rebuilt over and over.

Also replaced bad head bolts with running thread from the hardware store.

And once had the engine mount break while getting out the transmission, unpleasant to have one of those engines pin your arm to the ground. Glad it wasn't a cast iron engine!
