Why does this remind me of the guy with a chainsaw cutting off the limb he's standing on?

In the views showing the older guy with a hat, the power cord going behind him gives the illusion of a large crack in the concrete, which makes it seem like he is going to go down.

The fantasticly strong reinforcing metal and the shaking of the concrete when the hammer drops was what made me think it was a janky setup...
