As a kid I remember these seemed to be working all over Los Angeles. Even more in 1990's Los Vegas. Right now Kansas City might have 4-5 up. I never heard of any toppling.
Think I'll start detouring streets of their apparent fall radius.

It will be interesting to see the results of the investigation. I always worry in cases like this, where SO MUCH MONEY is involved and WHO is responsible is so critical, if we will ever know the real truth.
