Dead blow palm hammer

Two remarks gleaned from my experience making a near identical tool...

Make the length of the tool such that, grasped in the palm, each end projects a minimum of 1/2" from your hand. This will prevent painful pinches.

Lead shot makes for a deader blow than steel balls. I use #9 birdshot available from reloader suppliers.
