The nice thing about ulilising those slicers is that anything that you make with them is better than the original purpose - I have had one that i bought many years ago sitting on a shelf, only used it a few times as they are finicky to use and clean ( I bought a small commercial slicer on an auction for about the same price).
I will have to think of some way to repurpose mine as I am a bit of a Magpie and keep everything.
