Hello Toolmaker51, Thelt, Happy holidays and thanks for being part of the Home made tool community.

Hello Captainleeward, I really like your solution,I have one of those drill presses with the open slot round tables as well, additionally I have one with a larger square table with the T slots milled in, both are floor models. The round one just like yours is a royal pain to try and clamp anything down on. the table in my opinion is too thin to actually use the slotted holes for much. So after I found a vice with built in X & Y movement I mounted it to that table to take care not to potentially break out the slots I used strips of 1/4 by 1 1/2 Flat bar as washers underneath. I use my other drill press for any thing that does not require a vice.

Hi Frank, Thanks for your input I liked it Happy holidays to you too...:O)

Great idea Captain Lee Ward. My drill press table needs the same mod.
Out to the boat store for some 5200 Calk..
Thanks again for the tip.
Now I have 2 Captain Lee projects to do.
The other one is the Kant Twist Clamps.
