I remember as a kid 11-12 my father was driving my mother in the front seat and we pulled into a large shopping center.
It was late and the lot was mostly empty.
I was looking out the window and saw about a 4' wide parking divider coming up pretty fast, I assume there was an opening that my father was going to drive thru, not!
That was a pretty eye opening experience.
