    Fidget ring and cube

Was anyone ever told: "Don't fidget!"

Click a pen repeatedly? Spin your wedding band on your finger? Perform a basic repetitive physical activity to reduce stress or enhance concentration?

There's actually some data suggesting that fidgeting children perform better academically, especially among ADHD children.

Looks like fidgeting is as prevalent as ever, but it's in fashion now. Literally: it's a component of fashion. "Fidget rings" are a thing; this is the nicest example I could find, from KinektDesign.com, for $165, here in gunmetal finish:

Prefer to do more direct, non-jewelry fidgeting? Do you favor a specific fidgeting activity, perhaps involving a non-spinning motion? Button clicking? Switch flipping? Enter "Fidget Cube", at $19 on Kickstarter.

One fidget activity for each face of the cube. A few possibilities:

A machinist building a custom fidgeting cube could do an extraordinary job, and it would be a very challenging build. Useful as a toy, an aid for a restless child, or just to enable the joy of fidgeting.
