    Fire hose winder/washer - GIF

Our best hose winder yet. I like the self-referentiality of hooking up the hose to clean another hose. More importantly, I'm guessing this brushing and washing while rolling is actually really practical; fire hose can probably get a bunch of nasty burnt carcinogenic stuff on it.

How about drying the hose so it doesn't turn into a science project?

That's a good point. Does fire hose need to dried? Or discharge hose in general? Or what types of hose need to be dried before storage?

Any fabric hose and some plastics must be dried. All hoses should be at least well drained.
