Floor slip resistance testers. Both testers have rubber pads that are either dragged (bottom machine) or swung (top tester) to measure floor slip.

I knew a Drill sergeant who was a better slip resistant tester than that machine . The first time he told us that he wanted our barrack's floor polished to a higher shine than his boots, we did it when he stepped out on the floor both feet went above his head. His only comment after picking himself up was NOW THAT'S HOW I LIKE A FLOOR TO SHINE
