Here's the locking mechanism for the safety bar on the All Terrain Track Chair.
Using Air cylinders to raise and lower the bar, and at the same time it locks and unlocks the bar in position. Loss of air pressure will automatically unlock the safety bar and allow it to raise via springs.
A simple air switch is used to activate it up and down.
Part 1 shows the unit during early testing:
Part 2 shows the unit after all the air system is plumbed with the correct valves & flow controls to make it move nice and slow.
