Modified broom & handbrush

Probably a lot of us have done this, cut pieces off a broom, or lengthened the handle of a hand brush, but a search revealed nothing.
I don’t mind bending down to use a dustpan, but crawling about on hands and knees to get in all the corners and behind boxes etc is a pain, it’s getting hard to stand up again! As I hate debris beneath my feet, I use these more than once every working day. I know that I should tidy up when I have finished but usually go on until too tired, so clean up is usually effected the following morning.
Also, I have cut off all but 4 tines from a spring rake, for the garden.
