    it takes lots of parts to make a machine and each part more than likely was not build by one guy we all have 2 thumbs sorry 10 thumbs but those thumbs are useless unless you have fingers to support dem thumbs so I am the dumb thumb looking for the fingers to give me a hand please dont just give me the middle one Lol

    I think you received some excellent advice in one of the other threads. Cut rifling is likely the most readily feasible way of proceeding; button rifling is probably a non-starter in the home shop, particularly if the button itself needs to be fabricated of carbide.

    Cut rifling - that's the way to go!
